2023 IRA National Championships
The season comes to a close this weekend with the IRA National Championship. Our Bears have trained hard and will now compete with crews from around the country for the top spot. Updates will be sent through the weekend as we know exact times or Cal's Semi and Grand Finals.

Pac-12 Rowing Championships
Both the men and woman’s teams will be headed to Dexter Lake, Oregon to race in the Pac-12 Championship Regatta.
Cal/Stanford Dual
Cal and Stanford Men & Women’s Rowing teams will be facing off in the annual Dual, held Saturday April 29th. Come out to line the waterway or cheer from the bridge to support your golden bears in this historic match up. Highly encouraged to wear your blue and gold and bring your friends!
Cal/Washington Dual
Cal Men's and Women's Crews will be racing the University of Washington in Seattle Washington. Racing will be held on the morning of April 22rd.
GO BEARS
Pac-12 Challenge
The top 3 Cal boats will be racing Northeastern, Boston University, Wisconsin and Syracuse at Redwood Shores.
Ebright Invitational
The 4V/5V/6V bears will be hosting the Ebright Invitational on the Oakland Estuary at the T. Gary Rogers Rowing Center.

San Diego Crew Classic
The Cal Men & Women Rowing teams will both be racing at the San Diego Crew Classic. For more information and spectator info please visit:
Alumni Day Races
Join us for our annual alumni day where we celebrate the rich history of Cal Crew. There will be class races to spectate on the estuary, lunch - and of course it wouldn’t be alumni day without Dreyer’s ice cream.
California Challenge Cup
Cal Men’s Rowing will be participating in the California Challenge Cup in Newport Beach on March 4th.
Las Vegas Invitational
California is participating in the Las Vegas Invitational in Lake Las Vegas in Las Vegas, NV.
Friends of Cal Crew Annual General Meeting
Please join us for the Annual General Meeting of the Friends of Cal Crew. All Cal Men’s Rowing alumni are welcome to this event to learn more about current fundraising efforts and opportunities to get involved. Coach Frandsen will provide an update on the team’s progress and outlook for the racing season. Dinner will be provided.
California vs Stanford Big Row
California will race Stanford in the Big Row on Sunday Apr 25th on our home course at Redwood Shores.
We ask that you please do not attend the race and instead watch the Bears showcase their speed via live stream! Below you can find a racing schedule and a link to the live stream. Please note that there is the possibility of inclement weather on Sunday which may prevent the drone from flying, if this is the case then videos of racing will be taken from available vantages and posted on social media.

California will race Santa Clara and Oregon State on Saturday Apr 24th on our home course at Redwood Shores.

Henley Royal Regatta
Henley Royal Regatta is undoubtedly the best-known regatta in the world, held in high regard and with affection by rowers – both active and retired.
Founded in 1839, it is famous both as a great sporting event and as a social occasion. People travel from all over the world to attend, either as competitors or as spectators.
Henley Royal Regatta 2020 will be held from Wednesday 1st to Sunday 5th July. Cal Men’s Rowing hopes to send a boat to compete this year, further information will be added as confirmed.

Men's Rowing Team Banquet
The Annual Men’s Rowing Team Banquet will be held May 7th at the T. Gary Rogers Boathouse. The evening marks the transition from regular season duals to Pac12 and IRA Championships. Various awards will be given out to the 2019 - 2020 recipients including the Dean Witter, George Ahlgren, Jim Lemmon, Russ Nagler, and Jack Citrin awards.
Alumni and parents are invited to attend.
Wisconsin Dual
Cal and Wisconsin will compete in the annual Dual, Saturday April 18th. Come out to line the waterway or cheer from the bridge to support your golden bears - highly encouraged to wear your blue and gold!
2020 Cal Crew Olympic Gala
Please join us for our 41st annual Cal Crew Olympic Gala & Fundraiser. Funds raised will go towards purchasing equipment and providing travel opportunities for the Cal Men & Women’s Rowing programs. This year the dinner will be held at the T. Gary Rogers Rowing Center overlooking the beautiful Oakland Estuary.
The Big Give
March 12 is Big Give — our annual fundraising blitz — 24 hours when we celebrate all of the moments that make Berkeley such a big deal by sharing the love on social media, supporting all of our favorite schools and programs, and competing in a wide variety of contests.
